Postie Delivery

Posties will deliver mail to a letterbox if it is located on the street line and will only deliver mail to letterboxes on a public right of way if there are five or more letterboxes on that right of way. Letterboxes need to be clearly identified by street number and, where applicable, flat number. Postie delivery of mail to apartment blocks of five or more apartments will be made to a locked ground floor boxes in a common entrance.

Postie may deliver mail into business premises if a letterbox or letter-slot can’t be provided. If a business is located in a building without a lift, posties will not deliver mail above the first floor and a locked ground floor box should be provided or a person nominated to accept the mail.

Please note that the postie delivery service actually provided to you may vary slightly depending on local circumstances.
