Introduction
The Government introduced legislation to deregulate New Zealand’s Postal Service. The Bill removes New Zealand Post’s monopoly and allows full competition for postal services. The legislation took effect from 1 April 1998.
Who is Pete’s Post
Pete’s Post is a New Zealand company registered as a Postal Services Operator. The company was formed in 1999 to manage and seek opportunities for an alternative postal network and postal services within New Zealand. The Directors are Murray and Denise McBeth of New Plymouth.
